Short description of Pita

Pita is a small highland town whose reason to exist for a visitor is the waterfall below it, where the river drops in stages down a wide rock staircase into a gorge with a hydroelectric station tucked at the bottom. A second set of falls a good deal further out is bigger and much harder to reach. Both need water to be worth the trip and both are thin by the end of the dry months. The town itself has a market and very little else. Orange groves and cattle fill the country all around it.
