Description

Ordino is a traditional mountain village in northern Andorra and is widely regarded as the country's most beautiful settlement. Its well-preserved historic center, with stone houses, noble residences, and narrow streets, offers an authentic glimpse into old Andorra. Highlights include Casa d'Areny-Plandolit, the country's only preserved manor house, as well as the Postal Museum and the Romanesque Church of Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià. Surrounded by the Pyrenees and forming part of the UNESCO Ordino Biosphere Reserve, the village is also an excellent base for hiking in Sorteny Nature Park and the alpine landscapes of northwestern Andorra. Combining cultural heritage, unspoiled scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere, Ordino is one of Andorra's most charming destinations.
