Canillo
Andorra · 1531 m
Description
Canillo is Andorra's largest parish by area and a scenic mountain valley in the heart of the Pyrenees. The region is known for its spectacular viewpoints, year-round outdoor activities, and unspoiled alpine landscapes. Among its best-known attractions are Roc del Quer, with its dramatic cantilevered viewing platform, and the Canillo Tibetan Bridge, one of Europe's longest pedestrian suspension bridges. Historic landmarks such as the Romanesque Church of Sant Joan de Caselles and the small Hermitage of Sant Miquel de Prats add cultural interest to the natural surroundings. As one of the main gateways to the Grandvalira ski area and home to attractions like the Mon(t) Magic Family Park, Canillo combines mountain adventure, family-friendly recreation, and Pyrenean scenery throughout the year.
