Mondulkiri (មណ្ឌលគិរី) is Cambodia's eastern highland region, renowned for its rolling forested hills, pleasantly cool climate, and largely unspoiled natural landscapes. Home to the indigenous Bunong people, the province features dense forests, spectacular waterfalls, and excellent opportunities for trekking and nature exploration. Mondulkiri is especially known for its ethical elephant conservation projects, where rescued elephants can be observed in their natural habitat. As Cambodia's greenest and most pristine region, Mondulkiri offers a refreshing contrast to the country's ancient temples and tropical coastline.
