Description
Grampians National Park (Gariwerd) in western Victoria is a spectacular mountain landscape of rugged sandstone ranges, deep valleys, waterfalls and expansive eucalyptus forests. The national park is known for its scenic hiking trails and panoramic viewpoints such as the Pinnacle, its diverse wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and emus, and its colourful displays of wildflowers. Gariwerd also holds deep cultural significance for its Traditional Owners and is home to some of the most important Aboriginal rock art sites in southeastern Australia. Halls Gap, nestled in the heart of the Grampians, is the main gateway for hiking, wildlife encounters and exploring this remarkable region.
