Travel to Norfolk Island
Norfolk Island is a small Australian territory in the Pacific between Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia, known for its tall Norfolk pines and convict history. Kingston, the former penal settlement, is part of the Australian Convict Sites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Many residents descend from the Bounty mutineers, who moved here from Pitcairn in 1856, and their Norf'k language and traditions live on. The sheltered lagoon of Emily Bay, the walking trails of Norfolk Island National Park and a relaxed pace of life make it a popular getaway.
