Description
Flic en Flac is one of the best-known resort towns on the west coast of Mauritius, combining a long sandy beach with tropical scenery and a wide range of water activities. Its roughly eight-kilometer beach fronts a sheltered lagoon, offering ideal conditions for swimming, snorkeling and spectacular sunsets. Nearby, Casela Nature Parks features savanna-like landscapes, wildlife and adventure activities. Dolphins can often be spotted in the waters off Tamarin, just north of Flic en Flac. The town itself offers restaurants, bars, diving centers and boat excursions, while its location makes it a convenient base for exploring the island’s scenic western and southwestern regions.
