Short description of Little Bay
Little Bay is the new centre of Montserrat, built up in the green north of the island after the Soufrière Hills volcano buried the old capital of Plymouth in the late 1990s. Government offices sit in neighbouring Brades, and the ferry from Antigua docks at the jetty on the bay. The small beach of dark sand is good for snorkelling, and a steep trail or a short boat ride leads over the headland to Rendezvous Bay, the only white sand beach on the island. The cultural centre was funded by George Martin, whose recording studio once drew rock stars here.
