Arles is a historic city in Provence on the Rhône and a fascinating blend of Roman heritage, art, and southern French charm. The city is renowned for its impressive Roman amphitheatre, ancient theatre, and other Roman and Romanesque monuments that form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arles is also closely associated with Vincent van Gogh, who created some of his most famous works here.
