Arches National Park in the U.S. state of Utah is one of the most spectacular natural landscapes of the American Southwest and is renowned for the world’s densest concentration of natural stone arches. More than 2,000 documented arches, along with towering rock spires, sandstone fins, and balancing rocks, define its dramatic red-rock landscape, shaped over millions of years. Iconic landmarks such as Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, and Balanced Rock are particularly striking in the warm light of sunrise and sunset. Located near the outdoor adventure hub of Moab and not far from Canyonlands National Park, Arches combines extraordinary geology with vast desert scenery and ranks among the most impressive natural destinations on the Colorado Plateau.
